EAST COAST DERBY : WHO WILL REIGN SUPREME?
Kuala Terengganu, 31 December - Second-placed Terengganu will take on struggling Pahang tomorrow, only two days after their victorious trip to Kangar, beating the home side Perlis and before that, humbled last year treble champions, Kedah at home. Travelling without the injured Jocian Bento Dos Anjos and suspended Gleisson Freire, Terengganu shall lay the burden of keeping their brilliant form onto the shoulders of their local youngsters. Abdul Manaf Mamat and Ismail Faruqi would be a safe bet to start while Pahang reported had to leave their only foreign player, Uganda-born midfielder, Abed Bironse to the sideline because of injury. Under Yunus Aliff, this new season Terengganu played an interesting brand of football, netted 10 goals already and let only 3 goals in. And up to this date, they never failed to score on opponent's soil. With Yunus Aliff's 4-4-2 formation up against Zainal Abidin Hassan's 3-5-2 formation, this game would surely be a classic. A must watch east coast derby, don't call yourself a diehard fan if you miss this one.
